Lent
We are happy to have Soup and Bread again this year! Soup and Bread is a wonderful way to enjoy delicious food and fellowship during the season of Lent. These evenings are also a fundraiser to support our youth group in attending the Canadian Lutheran Anglican youth (CLAY) gathering in August 2025! Soup and Bread will run every Wednesday from March 12 to April 9 at 5:30 pm. With the help of the congregation, we will have yummy soup and bread that you can enjoy, and which will be served to you by our youth group. There will be an opportunity to make donations at your table, all support is welcome. You can sign up to bring soup and or bread on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
At 6:30 pm there will be Holden Evening Prayer. Please join us!
Easter altar flowers
Families wishing to place flowers on the altar for Easter Sunday can do so by designating offering donations of $25 to “Easter Flowers” on or before April 14. Please include a note indicating if the flowers are placed in memory of someone, or in thanksgiving for someone/thing.
(Please do not bring flowers/plants due to allergies.)

SHP ask that we arrive at 9:30 a.m. to share in coffee and pastries supplied by them.
Donations of new twin bedding including sheets, pillows and comforters are greatly appreciated. You may also make a financial donation towards these items and well as the supplies needed for building the beds.
A sign-up sheet is in the narthex.
Photo Directory volunteers needed
Faith is exploring an opportunity to have a new pictorial directory printed later this year as it has been several years since our last directory was published. It would be exciting to have an updated version available for our congregation. Volunteers are needed to organize this endeavor in the church. If you are willing to participate in the organization and preparation of this new directory, please contact Cathy in the office.
Eternity for Today
The Eternity for Today devotional books for April, May and June are available for pickup in the Narthex.
Coffee time volunteers needed
The fellowship time after our Sunday service has become an important part of our Sunday worship.
We are looking for volunteers who are interested in supplying cookies, making coffee, and to help set up and clean up after the fellowship time.
A sign-up sheet is in the Narthex. If you have any questions, please call the office.
Christian Education Moment
In the worship service from September to May, we have a spotlight for a Christian Education Moment. This moment is geared for the children, but we also do speak to the grownups in the pews. During this Christian Ed moment, we watch a video to support a lesson reading for the day. If individuals and families are not able to join worship in person or by FaceBook, here is the link to our YouTube Channel that has the videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaHI8HZ016Nqv6z5h3FG_PX5D0oJB_2Op and if you like to colour here is a link for colouring pages: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fFaZHCegx4HaRLVmME_2SzZSziBORlpl?usp=share_link
